1.
woke up in memory lane faces I haven’t thought about in hundreds of days actions that spoke volumes but it’s too loud trying to find a happy soul in this miserable crowd memory lane bombing like a pinball in an old machine the skies are gray and the cars are green at least until I have my way with it burned out the eyes of a wayback flame scratched out opportunities that called my name old songs and scraps of paper crumpled into dust decapitated cold love confused with lust
2.
Police Dogs 02:45
I feel bad for police dogs they’ll never know what it’s like to be good nothing on the ones at home unfortunately they’ll never know while the ones at work doing officer’s chores serving master’s wish for an uneven score black badge for a white mind imagine if you were the one to sniff the kill doing what they’re told ceremonies held for when they’re too old as if they’re so much better than the ones who were not around to watch the innocents tie into knots and heads fall to the pavement like deflated balls unknowing of the meaning of the master’s calls is it their fault? imagine finding out you’re a tool
3.
Forcina 02:06
went out for a late night stroll found the building with the red elevators the lounge was covered with caution tape and towers of unused desks imagine what kind of texts would have to go in there if anyone ever does I'm sure they do but what do they learn there? Forcina stalks the night and finds dead students to revive and finds trespassers around to make them not alive
4.
string lights lighting the way the path that leads to hope away from the wrong ways to cope where the sun shines most of the time where you never have to drive where the food and housing’s free we can hop in and finally be happy string lights lighting away from abusive families in model homes crossed out old pictures from a meaningless past and you never have to find a job and you’ll never have to hear the fireworks and the dogs all sorta play along we can hop in and finally be happy
5.
back to circus farm, we walked through wet deserts and dry rainforests crawling with diseaseless bugs and carved-up trees with some initials all the animals kept quiet inciting their own voiceless riot and watched us as we wandered out and through the plot the wolves kept watch nothing on the winter parasol especially since we knew they saw us all she cried out on sudden thorns and he fell off the unicorn he said he's sure but I think not the damages of isolation-based rot the sun was setting fast regretting finding childhood and as the moon looked back at us we wondered if we should turn back
6.
when our senses have failed when our minds have exhaled we’ll go back to the start point paint a new hole and we’ll forget about it ‘til the next opened scroll the days get longer and our arms aren’t any stronger black paint dripping off our arms and crusting up our legs pointed at the cornerstones and the crumbling bones piles of ash where our fathers once stood as if we should not
7.
there's a candle in my head that doesn't go out but this week it's been getting close the wax unraveled, left some mental crayons that painted awful pictures of my final throes what a pretty picture, don't deface it the canvas is bleak, but there's more room for color more time to let it dry what a great idea, never change it the lightbulb is dim and potential is slim okay maybe it's not worth it frames cut off from different reels and collaged into one blinking little lights that never burn off days overwhelming on and never letting go look at all these plans I made bet they all go to waste
8.
Word Bar 01:45
right forward stance for no one apologetic chance ancient dance motion suggestive corrective chaos joys and arcs on failing marks
9.
say to all of us “we’re okay” cause for now we feel depleted and love would be much needed down from the church down the street nailed everywhere but her feet back in action winks slide with traction her return bless us all absence burned at the stake we couldn’t wait and now you’re here did you sleep in the Beach Of Fear? cry, it’s okay we cried for you in jars fogging up with juice some died some stayed inside some hoped some wondered why you would play alone far from our temple home what are we to you because clearly you’re nothing to us
10.
so another day comes and goes leaves fall as the wind blows seasons are climbing eons of history dying stars fall from the branches dancers take their stances a gust of today's rain August is sleeping now owls turn their heads and look getting high on the lake heads in the bench gaps sitting on top of each other but enjoying one another as if it mattered if they didn't no time to ask how August is sleeping now
11.
Week Of Rain 03:48
suddenly the rays come down and where i'm lost i've found a wet spot growing a new day showing me the exit sign tired hands beg for week of rain a weaker reign hold up the light that breathes the life into this broken eyesight ghosts of let go reactions fall through the hands of satisfactions tired hands beg for week of rain a weaker reign new spring morning ends old march cold begins sky falls keep the sun up rain falls hold the week up where can i find you if i may look for you destined for greatness but falling out on shame tired hands beg for week of rain a weaker reign where do you think you're going? it's too wet out there
