is it a crisis averted? only if I’ve learned rolled down the shutters and faced the turning point maybe it’s better but I should keep quiet as not to start something more but this should start nothing as not to start beef with the one-note simpleton rock I may have better songs but for now they’re on the top and they have their fans so why should I complain? they understand how to play the industry game it all sounds the same in the end arm reaching out for new friend Mount Laurel to Cheyenne it’s a greater distance than hatred to heartache bold to Broadacre straight line to Transfer oh I’ve said enough leave a bone by the doggy door have a ball on the human floor as not to start beef with the one-trick simpleton rock I may be more prolific but for now they’re on the top and they have their friends so why should I complain? they understand how to play the promotional game it all sounds the same in the end arm reaching out to defend

say she wants a good night I’ll do what I can to make everything right I just have to follow her light I’m spending the night with the xenologist’s daughter I’m spending the night with the xenologist’s daughter would it be right if beforehand I called her? looks like it’s two of us alone Rosalie and me, two kids in an empty home no point in sitting around waiting I’m spending the night with the xenologist’s daughter I’m spending the night with the xenologist’s daughter it could be forever, she’ll just keep getting hotter this could be it it’s been a while but it always feels the same inside when I watch her smile this could be it worth it for miles clutching her hand we dive in I’m spending my life with the xenologist’s daughter I’m spending my life with the xenologist’s daughter together happy, it’s so easy to love her I’m spending my life with the xenologist’s daughter

make it happen for today better happy in the rain lay the traps, catch the prey take some chances, make a gain take some papercuts for the soul they’re lined with riddles, spoken tongues take some audience for the road they’re lined with little yellow bugs crawling up your arm forbidden fruits to bear what could make you care? you turn me on you know it’s true I make you sad when I say I love you if this isn’t happiness I won’t stop you from running away it’s not the end of the world if I don’t set the traps today

she sailed over Japan’s Zephyr Sea siren of a new generation every heartstring pulled over her knee and snapped into a soft penetration rainbows of black color acted as North Star and with that she traveled very far and as the trips got tiring, she got up and left never to return sounds and waves for days life a loveless maze stature high and proud no one could do it like Victoria Raincloud sailing higher seas hair blowing in the breeze underneath the knees no one was quite like Victoria Raincloud after a seastrong rest she got up and locked her chest every possession and weapon she owned would have to stay at home decided it was time to lay low for a while even strangers knew her smile so she donned a mask and cut her hair and went on the town yet they couldn’t take her crown and so beside herself she yawned and so beside his body it dawned on her this newest emotion this new elation this highest regarded old sensation she missed it so she craved it much but she didn’t want it more they called it love they said if you held a lot you’d end up above when the time was right she knew it was the thing to do but she wasn’t really up for something new the seas kept calling her name and in the end she knew she felt the same back to songbird youth chest armed, bared for routine she left the dock and thought to cry couldn’t bear the thought of pretending to fall for another guy besides, her heels were uncomfortable over her head at last she knew she could be alone when they found her dead

hey are you crying I know, it’s not fair boys running around as you’re trying not to care they’re hit with nothing and you’re hit with all heralded as heroes but still you take the fall where’s your hero? lying with illness puked a little blood they wouldn’t carry you out yet embraced for a flood don’t know what they’re scared of it’s not like they’re so pure I’ve found you something so-called third strongest cure here goes nothing “so loving, so right”

Anymore 03:08
you say nothing of heart watch and drink as your decisions tear us apart maid found you asleep lying on the stairs made your bed and tucked you in the pillow catching all your loose hairs because you’re strung out every night this isn’t a fight worth winning anymore years ago we met as harlots crawling under the stairs I followed you into your den through your breadcrumb trail of red hairs but after a while it turned blue and it’s like I don’t remember you since when did loving you become a chore? what’s left to matter anymore?

and if you’ll not follow through and if you’ll not decide and if you’ll not build shelter don’t come to me to hide from this blurred crushed reality television fallacy ever so revealing ever so defeated I can’t build a home for you if I have none for me it’s a game of survival where none are truly free ever so revealing fighter is anybody getting lighter? we’ll drink to our toasts, an end to most is this rapture, pre-decided as we sit happily divided?

she looks out from a window or a one-way mirror to some watching the moon rise wiping up the cum work is taxing but she doesn’t care they’ll soon be overtaken by the Magic Square takes the old plastic stars down and throws them in her car revs up for a hotbox with plans to travel far where no one may ever find her or know about her past it’s not as if this old club was ever built to last to not be a faded star pulled into nowhere with broken gas pumps new burn holes in the ceiling from all the speed bumps ran to the washroom to rinse out the dye blend into surroundings and not turning an eye self-witness protection matters holy if the glass shatters walking quiet like a woman battered standing tall like somebody flattered to not be a faded star checked into a cheap motel just over the bridge grabbed her empty bottles, chucked them into the fridge dreams blend into nightmares yet she can’t stay awake a self-imposing horror that she could barely take alienation clearer ripped out all the glass from the mirror hid under the bed from what horrifying things as the night dies down with her state, her shaky voice sings look at her that faded star
