the more I harp the less I realize the truth
that I don't have any clue what you really think
that this anger happens only to be fabricated
to make myself better about a problem that isn't there
swam through your garden of water
no salt found in the sound, I guess the feeling's not really there
gave it a look and indeed I came up short
it looks like you don't really care
blink of an eye and I'm back again
staring at myself wondering why I thought so hard
maybe i don't have to care anymore

an intercepted gassed frustation
campfire fumes and limitations
marching back in gone formations
selling third-hand information
that they're holding back and behind
hovering over the knife parade
mosaic shine in the deep charade
wetter still raining down on the glade
I'm keeping my distance today
I have nothing left to say
I'm glad you're running free
means nothing more to me
admiring what I never could
hoping for what never should
letting down what I knew would
take me down with all that's good
and I'm holding back to be left behind
