in the estate sale of life
you're numbered by satellites
and given prices to determine your worth
for every spot on the earth
when humans declared
a pre-determined purpose
giving prizes
for playing their games
but only momentarily yours

but placed like diamonds
gave up and pushed it away

in the anything of life
fill in the blanks with jargon
metaphorically speaking
dictionary play
as it all means nothing at the end of the day
and when the next one starts
