Princess 04:00
winter is broken as she sits, it’s spoken making the chain run dry kissing the blades goodbye a new age of death threats coming into the new day running mark me off when I fall the king has spoken told of every soldier lost at sea again unmotivated every time lost in time alone this time they don’t want her this time mark her off where she falls but the queen weeps for the head revolution paused instead the idiots win this time alone this time and the king walks off in shame princess gone all for a game there won’t be any winning this time alone this time

in line to get my teeth pulled she came through the door sat in the other corner of the room spark of reaction have I felt this before? Pilgrim head says nothing as we wait we never talked so I never got her name but somehow I think it was Ellie I don’t remember anything losing bone, driving home memory of her fading as I blink a quick sketch for my friends to prove that this meant something but I lose her face the harder I think I don’t know why was it worth a try?
3.
Snowing Eyes 01:52
got comfortable at the right spot got me out of a tight spot saved the light from my spot drove it out and shot it knowing I’ll never forget but I’ve come too far to regret days lost spent harping on a magic role I’d never fill the diamond falls and breaks cleansing my mistakes snowing eyes and blooming the threat of hurt not looming burning past is booming locked in happiness a peace where I can’t stress enough to avoid a mess oh how the heart aches
4.
sun breaks up the night into the light moon plays off and brings it into sight weather or not, they’re growing up soon we’ll have two up against the world, they’re glowing up soon they’ll have to stars make up and shake the sky up right sky wakes up and takes another flight right into the night ride into the night
5.
when she says she needs your all where you stand you can’t seem to fall all the pages ripped out and burned stuck together so they can’t be turned I’d beg to disagree when they say you’re heaven sent I say give it a rest would heaven really send its best? turning over new leaves behind standing sober yet still blind wanted wasted years chopped off gone holding secrets to know you’re wrong
6.
time called, wished me luck light broke, I’m not stuck to pass away and give way to the peace I need but a path to walk and still give way to my dirty seed waiting on the crowd behind me staring at the sun that blinds me walking away from the passing burns but I’ll hold the door open for my demons climbing up the walls falling through and finding it’s not empty they don’t know I’m here or that they’re here for me it’s better that way so I don’t really have to fear for me
7.
Moonlight 02:23
pass this time everlasting window of life spirit guiding higher and higher lighter and lighter slower and slower the waking light the beams that wash over the metaphorical rooster so to speak the window fails to open as it creaks sunny days don’t last forever but it’s worth it for the moonlight sunny days don’t last forever the window opens and she’s looking in happily plucking hairs from her Pilgrim head to feed the toothless children the cult in rhyme wonder away orange pamphlets spelling out their rites
8.
Happy Ending 03:04
our fate was sealed long ago how was I supposed to know we’d still be here facing not far away chasing angry erasing the blood on my hands that isn’t there from digging tunnels through your hair pulling thoughts out from my mind a trail of dirt I never left behind where’s the heart I made crafted from the serenades I sang myself to sleep sometimes reality’s not that deep somehow I moved on from that phase empty and shuddering, writing songs for days elected to ignore my urges already fading away to ensure you would stay
9.
a hole in her chair a hole in her spirit a hole in her heart a hole in her sky a hole in her floor taking apart her flaming absence burns golden opportunities that had to wait her flaming absence burns a gently crumbling state the missing face on the painted wall winking irises to them all bowing in turn and kneeling down for the idol in the gown Here we present: The Lovely Waiting Room, where she first appeared. Her short orange hair sticking out not like much of anything, but still sticking out. Looking vaguely like Grimes, or something. You know the look. Anyway, we kneel for her, we weep for her, and we pray for her return.
10.
the way you asked me to stay for the kids you knew you had to have stations turn to stop signs patient melts to resigned it’s not my time to be a settler the door is open, so out I go if you see me around, fine, let me know highways turn to parking lots old friends turn to robots it’s not my time to be ready
11.
im finally getting sleep because theres nothing else to do because im really really trying not to bother you when the light leaks through the peephole and i knock to change my night and the conversation stops as i find that i was right i spot them in the center, eating, laughing, full of heart i yearn to have the same but i’ve forgotten where to start the rope they pulled to get there must have been burned before i leaped and i’m left on my own again where have i misplaced my friends lonely eyes break down the mind think I’ll barricade my life way to save myself from nothing near weighing down my options on the table masochist of loneliness I’m here but this is probably nothing and I’m not losing touch just ‘cause I’m not getting out as much sitting back behind my eyes I reach my terror towards the skies and I’m never really sure where it’ll land reaching for your hands coming up short and fearful emptying out an earful throwing on my hat again walking through the snow again masochist of loneliness I’m near
